Under the auspices of Prof. Al-Sayed Abdel-Khalek, the president of the University, the Quality Assurance Center is organizing a workshop on Education for Sustainable Development in Higher Education, on 1st of July, 2012.
The speaker is Dr. Amanda Immaculate Hlengwa, the regional coordinator of Africa for Education for Sustainable Development in Higher Education Sponsored by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
In the workshop, the participants will be exposed to current ESD processes and research and will share knowledge and experience with the speaker in the field of ESD. Interactive lectures and professional exchange dialogues will be held. The participants will develop a more comprehensive concept and implementation strategy for change in their colleges.
