On Sunday 3/5/ 2015, the meeting of the Central Committee of Safety and Health was held to discuss vocational health and safety procedures in the university faculties and the ways to fight petty and great fires. Professor El-Melegi, the Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development, stressed the urgency of having a fully integrated system to train employees and students on fighting fires in a speedy way. A committee was also formed to inspect the disposal system of medical waste in hospitals and medical centers under the supervision of the General Manager of Medical Affairs and the General Manager of Environmental Projects.
