Mansoure university discusses the details of the 6th international conference of the Egyptian exploration society

استقبل On Tuesday 5th September 2018, both prof/ Mohamed Kenawy - President of Mansoura University and prof/ Ashraf Sweilem - Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, received prof/ Rida Sayed Ahmed - Dean of the faculty of Arts and the members of the Organizing Committee of the 6th International Conference of the Egyptian Exploration Society, to discuss the details of hosting the conference in the period from 11 to 13 April 2019.
The committee includes Prof/ Penalope Wilson - Director of the Delta Excavation Project and Professor at the University of Durham in England, prof/ Maha Al-Sejaini- vice -dean of the Faculty of Arts, prof/ Nihad Kamal- vice-dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels and Head of Archeology Department, Dr./ Ayman Wahbi- Assistant Professor at the Department of Archeology and Mr./ Essam Nagy – director of Egyptian Exploration Association office.
Just after the meeting prof/ Sweilam held another meeting to discuss the organizational details with the organizing committee of the conference from Mansoura University and the Egyptian Exploration Society.
Its worth to mention that the university is hosting for the first time the activities of the conference, which aims at enriching scientific research in the field of archaeological discoveries, especially in the delta region, scientific publishing of new archaeological discoveries, learning about the latest archaeological discoveries in the delta and the archaeological areas tourism.
