The World Federation for Medical Education declared the accreditation of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education(NAQAAE). This accreditation, which is unprecedented in the Arab world and Africa, is valid for 10 years, till 2029. The NAQAAE has met the required standards for the World Federation for Medical Education recognition of accreditation program. This recognition status will cause a real change for medical school graduates especially after the World Federation for Medical Education's decision last year not recognize any graduates from medical schools by 2023 unless these schools are accredited by the NAQAAE in their countries, and the NAQAAE themselves are accredited by the WFME. This move will put Egypt on the map of education globally and re-examine the outputs of Egyptian academic institutions at an international level as well as open up great prospects for future graduates of medical schools. It is worth mentioning that Mansoura University Faculty of Medicine received accreditation from the NAQAAE for the first time in 2011. It was the second school to be accredited in Egypt. Its accreditation was renewed in 2017. Moreover, Mansoura-Manchester Medical Program was the first specific program to be accredited all over the Egyptian universities in 217
