You are warmly invited to participate in the 10th international conference on Chemistry and its role in development (10ICCRD), to be held at Mansoura University-Sharm El-Sheikh Egypt March 16-20, 2009.
We have been fortunate to get outstanding scientists from industry, universities and research institutes to highlight recent progress in the different aspects of chemistry as plenary lectures, oral or posters presentation dealing with ongoing research. We cordially welcome you to experience all these and have an informative and enjoyable time in Egypt. More details will be provided in the second announcement.

 

Call for papers

Abstract for posters and oral presentations must be submitted electronically through the e-mail. A template, to which all abstracts must confirm, is available at the website ( www.mans.edu.eg ): abstracts not conforming to the format or length of the template will be rejected. Upon acceptance of the abstract, the session organizer will assign contribution to oral or poster presentation.

Instructions for authors

Submissions should reach 10 ICCRD no later than May, 2008. One-page abstract of oral or poster contributions must be submitted in electronic form via e-mail to the corresponding session organizer. The submitted abstract will be reviewed and the authors will be notified by November, 2008.

The author is required to provide the following information:

* Title of the paper
* Presenting authors data: postal address, phone and e-mail
* Corresponding author data: : postal address, phone and e-mail
(more than one author)
* Symposium session that you will submit your paper

Transportation

From outside Egypt
There are many international direct airlines to Sharm El-Sheikh international airport.

From Cairo
Buses, Limousine cars as well as domestic flights are available

 

Conference Language

English is the official language of the plenary lectures, papers and posters. No translations will be provided.

 

Climate

Sharm El-Sheikh has a hot and dry weather. However, there are significant differences in temperature between day and night, with a temperature in the range 17-29 ēC  during March.

Mansoura

Mansoura is one of the biggest cities in the middle of delta of Egypt but receives very few tourists. It has a good repetual university and advanced medical Centers.
Among the historic sights of the town, the most famous is the museum of Dar Ibn Lockman, the house where Louis IX, King of France, was captured and imprisoned in the seventh Crusade.

Sharm

The Sinai Peninsula is a remote desert mountain range. The rocky Mountains are parted from the red sea by a flat desert strip. This combination of desert and sea is an incredible sight and makes you believe you are on a different planet.

Sharm El-Sheik is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Egypt. It has one of the finest diving spots in the world, a trip into the desert is one unforgettable adventure.
