Faculty of Science Vision and Strategic Objectives
The vision of the Faculty of Science at Mansoura University has been created to serve University vision. The vision aims at providing excellence in teaching and learning, successful research and creative endeavors, and professional fulfillment. Graduates will be pioneers and confident in working in multi-disciplinary settings and they able to undertake evidence-based practice and care to high ethical standards meeting the needs of scientific community. Dissemination of the Mission The following methods have been carried out for raising the awareness and dissemination of the Faculty mission: 1- posting the mission statement to academic and administrative departments. 2- distributing flyers containing the mission statement disseminated between the students outside and inside the Faculty. 3- uploading the mission statement on Faculty website in order to be available for students, staff members, stakeholders and beneficiaries.
In globalization time and with the rapid change of technology, educational institutes have to rebuild themselves according to the needs of other communities. So, educational institutes should improve their strategy and systems to achieve their aims, therefore it is necessary for educational institutes to determine their aims carefully. The Faculty of Science, Mansoura University seeks to determine the strategic aims to ensure the efficiency of its plans and educational programmes. The Faculty of Science overall objectives aim to: 1. provide high quality learning and support environment for its students. 2. offer flexible curricular structures to allow broad student choice and to develop more multi-disciplinary programmes . 3. establish an integrated system for conducting scientific research that has a positive impact on the needs of the community, society and environment. 4. encourage all staff to improve the quality of teaching. 5. provide teaching of a level and quality appropriate to our student intake, in the distinctive context of a strong research environment, within our programme of continuing quality enhancement. 6. Establish a system of quality management and monitoring to improve performance at all levels of teaching, research and community services.
