Announcement The administration of establishing the Egyptian National Center for Measurement and Evaluation as well as developing and innovating the system of admission into higher education announces the need for a good number of experts and teaching staff members in the Egyptian universities and research and educational institutions within all fields of specialization and at all levels too. The deadline of applying for this will be in the 25th of March, 2010.

A training course on how to use the new international databases The general administration of libraries- the digital library unit in the Supreme Council of Universities- helds a good number of training courses for the teaching staff members and co-members as well as the specialists within this field of libraries in Mansoura University and Damietta branch as well. These courses are about how to manage and use the new international databases available in all the Egyptian universities

Mansoura University obtains about 14 medals in El Shaheed El Rfaaie tournament Mansoura University has achieved the 8th level in the 36th sportive tournament of the Egyptian universities and academic institutions(El Shaheed El Rfaaie tournament) for the years 2008/2009 and it has achieved many advanced positions and obtained medals as well.

Annual Scientific Conference of the Department of Dermatology in the faculty of Medicine, Mansoura university. Under the auspices of Mr.A.D. / Ahmed Bayoumy Shehab El Din, president of the university, the ceremony of the first Egyptian-German immunological skin diseases, 13th Egyptian-French clinical immune, and the annual scientific conference of the Department of Dermatology was opened on 4.5 / 3 / 2010 in the conference hall at the University Children's Hospital at 10 am.

New scholarships financed by the Fund of Science and Technological Development The Fund of Science and Technological Development announces the availability of grants for developing potentialities and capabilities. This grant funds the construction and development of the capabilities of universities and research centers as well as equipping and improving the research labs and maintaining the accurate devices used in laboratories. It is also concerned with the scientific capabilities so as to develop the research means. The deadline of applying for this grant will be on the 31th of Mars, 2009. Research grants presented by the Fund of Science and Technological Development The Fund of Science and Technological Development announces the availability of presenting suggestions for research projects aiming at increasing the production of food and realizing self-suffieciency entitled: " The Improvement of sustainable food production."

An announcement about the touristic competition The unit of Students' societies in the general administration for students' care announces the organization of a touristic competition in cooperation with the Egyptian Board for encouraging tourism. The research must include subjects like the Tourism for Health Care, or what we call touristic treatment in egypt, the Sportive Tourism and means of activating it.

The program of international scholarships of Ford Institution for the years 2011/2012 The Amid East Board announces the start of applying for the international scholarships presented by Ford Institution. The program offers support lasting for about two years for the post graduate studies stage in order to afford good opportunities for distinguished university graduates who do not have the chance of completing their higher studies and getting the M.A degree. The Academy for Scientific Research has got a license to grant ICDL certificate Within the frame of organizing a program for developing the potentialties and capabilities of fresh graduates entitled" For Egypt sake- the scientists of the coming generation",the Academy for Scientific Research has prepared computer labs necessary for training the young graduates as well as granting the ICDL certificate from UNESCO

Mansoura University celebrates the Athletes Day Mansoura University has held an athletic celebration in the third of March,2010 in order to celebrate the Athletes Day. In addition, there was a good number of many activities both sportive and artistic. This was with the presence of professor Muhammad Salem, vice president of educational and students' affairs and professor Maha El segenny, the responsible for girls at Mansoura Universityas well as the consultants of social and athletic committees, students' societies and the members of the students' unions

Mansoura University celebrates athletes. Mansoura University organized a party on Wednesday, 3/3/2010 to celebrate athletes. This party witnessed several sporting and artistic events in the presence of A. D. Mohamed Sweilem El-Bassiouni, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Maha El Sejeeni, responsible for girls in the University and the consultant of sports and social committees, societies, student unions, and large number of university students at the Federation of University Students.

A training workshop about the research projects funded by the Science and technological development fund The higher studies and researches sector in Mansoura University organizes a training workshop about the research projects funded by the science and technological development fund within the field of Humanities and social science. This course will be lectured by Dr.Reem El Khedry, the representative of the Humanitarian and Social Sciences sector in the science and technological development fund in the third of Mars,2010 at 12 o'clock p.m in El sahorry amphitheater in the Faculty of Law instead of the 24th of February, 2010.

A training course for women about " The election duties and rights for Egyptian women'' in the University Development Center The training unit which is responsible for the constant qualifying of the teaching staff members and the co-members announces the start of a new course, among the series of non-traditional courses adopted by the unit for serving the university community, entitled "The election duties and rights for Egyptian women.''

The grants of the executive program between Egypt and Belgium for the years 2010 and 2011 The sector of cultural affairs and scholarships in the ministry of Higher Education announces the availability of a good number of scholarships for the purpose of collecting scientific material for ph.D degree in Belgium for the years 2010 and 2011

The delegates of Shindy University visit Mansoura University	A delegate headed by the president of Shindy University has visited Mansoura University within the frame of cooperative agreement between the two universities. During this meeting they have discussed the possible means of cooperation between the two partners especially within the field of Medicine

The establishment of Genetics Engineering and Biological Technology in Mansoura University Mansoura University has founded a unit of Genetics Engineering and Biological Technology. This unit aims at providing modern labs with the main structure that will help them transform researches into semi- commercial products within the fields of Genetics Engineering and Biological Technology

Deepening and expanding the international cooperation with Mansoura University Mansoura University has signed many scientific agreements with various international universities including Marmarra and Istanbul Universities in Turkey, Bihact University in Sarajevo, as well as Khar Kief Institute in Ukraine. The university has renewed its agreement with Batesburg University in U.S.A

This service will be for free for the first 1000 teaching staff members during the first year, then it will cost about 30 pounds per year.
