Scolars’ Scientific

First Scolarship

  • The first scolar scientific ship was the British Counsul to United Kingdom, 1988. It was agricultural mechanization computer development model for fully of Scotland Mechanization area. A computer model of Agricultural machinery selection on the main frame system.

  • A wide range of tillage traction experimental field work were establishment on dry and wett heavy soils in British condition. These traction data were analysed and used in tillage traction model especially using mouldboard ploughs. The author was concentrated to collect the review reaserchers data of tillage draught and traction comperhensive to develop the mathimatical computer model based on soil mechanics to select agricultural machinery for Scotland area during 1988-1995.

Second Scolarship

  • The second scolar scientific ship was the Peace Scolarship to Texas Tech University, USA. In 1989/1990 as post Doctor cooperative with Prof. Dr. W.J. Kolarik at Industiral Engineering Department, Texas Tech University. At Texas Shaire clamatic condition, work field of experimental data were carried out on loamy sand and sandy loam soil to evaluate the dynamic weight transferred due to  draught forces and from the axle of front 2-WD, FWA and 4-Equal wheels drive tractors to rear axle. Soil pulevrization and implement draught forces seems to increase the developed rear wheels torque and their traction of different tractor fleets. However, there is a great side effects of soil compaction due to the use of heavy tractor-implement combination.

  • So, a great efforts were carried out to develop tractor-implement dynamic weight due to tillage forces. The tractor-implement traction and tractor-implement dynamic weight transferred in tillage operation with two softwares’ versions (Meteric and English units) were available to run on the personal computer. These model softwares are very easy to inter the imput data throuh the monitor concerning tractor and implement specification weights and dimensions, soil properties and field operating  parameters such as speed, depth and width of machine and operating efficiency. While, the model output data were tabulated in 5 reports included: tractor-implement draught, net thrust and max pull, rolling force, power requirement, traction parameters, such as: wheel mobility number, net and max traction coefficients slip, tractive efficiency. Tractor-iplement specification dimensions, static and dynamic weights, soil and draught forces acting on the rear tractor axle increased total rear wheels dynamic weight and decreased the front axle of the tractor weight all these parameters were tabulated in a final report.

  • Texas Tech university was awared the author a raduactive Troxle-3440 which calculated the soil properties in wet and dry condition for normal and asflit (concorated) layers. The author was awared this piece of instrument to the agriculutural Engineering department by his emploement position.
