The Academy of Scientific Research announces the opening of the prizes for the Nile, the State of Appreciation and Encouragement and the awards of bodies and individuals 2018
- First: Nile Awards:
Two awards: a prize in science and a prize in advanced technological sciences.
The value of each prize is five hundred thousand pounds and a gold medal.
The prize can not be divided, nor granted to one person more than once.
- Second: State Appreciation Awards:
It has ten awards: five in science in the fields of basic sciences, agricultural, medical and engineering, and five in advanced technological sciences, which serve the fields of basic sciences, agricultural fields, medical fields, and engineering fields.
The value of each prize is two hundred thousand pounds and a gold medal.
The award may not be divided, nor granted to one person more than once.
Third: State Awards for Excellence:
Seven prizes: one in basic sciences, agricultural, medical and engineering, and three in advanced technological sciences.
The value of each prize is one hundred thousand pounds and a silver medal ..
The award may not be divided or awarded to one person in the same branch more than once.
Fourth: State Encouragement Awards:
- The number of forty awards distributed as follows:
Eleven awards in basic sciences, three prizes will be awarded to the basic science, physics and geology branches, three chemical science awards, three biomedical awards and two advanced technological science awards serving basic science fields.
Ten prizes in the field of agricultural sciences to eight awards in various branches of agricultural sciences and two awards in advanced technological sciences that serve agricultural fields.
Nine prizes in the fields of medical sciences, including seven awards in different branches of medical sciences and two advanced science sciences that serve medical fields.
Ten awards in the fields of engineering sciences, including eight awards in different branches of engineering sciences and two awards in advanced technological sciences that serve engineering fields.
- The value of each prize is fifty thousand pounds.
- It may not be granted more than once to one person only five years after the award for the first time.
- No one person may award the prize more than twice in one branch or subject.
