International students at Mansoura University witness the launch of the ICESCO Year of Youth in an international celebration in the New Administrative Capital

On behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Prof. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, inaugurated on October 7th , 2023, the major international celebration organized by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research “ICESCO Year of Youth".

In the presence of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Chairman of the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO - ALECSO - ICESCO), Prof. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, Dr. Ahmed Anwar Al-Adl, General Supervisor of the International Students Administration, Ms. Sahar Al-Eraki, Director of the Administration, Mr. Hani Al-Sayed Saad El-Din, Students’ Activities Specialist at the International Students Club, Ms. Asma Gad, Translator at the administration of international students, and a number of ministers of Islamic countries, ambassadors, heads of international bodies and organizations, ministry leaders, heads of governmental, national, private and technological universities, public figures, businessmen, scientists, professors, scholars, experts and researchers in various scientific, educational and cultural specializations from Egypt and the countries of the Islamic world . the events were held in the New Administrative Capital.

At the beginning of the celebration, Prof. Mostafa Madbouly witnessed a simulation of the General Conference of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), during which young representatives of member states discussed the challenges facing the Islamic world in the fields of education, science, culture, communication and humanities, and presented recommendations to confront these challenges.

During the ceremony, the audience watched a distinguished performance presented by the ICESCO choir, and at the conclusion of the ceremony, a group of creative, brilliant and innovative youth in the Islamic world were honored, among them were students from Mansoura University:

1.         Walaa Hassan Mulla Ahmed Hassan, Faculty of Medicine from Bahrain.

2.         Student Rawand Issa Ahmed Abed, Faculty of Medicine, from Palestine.

3.         Raneen Musa Hamouda Jabari, Faculty of Medicine, from Palestine.

4.         Saif El-Din Shaker Abdel Moneim, Faculty of Medicine, from Palestine.

5.         Muhammad Murad Abdo Qasim, Faculty of Medicine, from Yemen.
