Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates visits Mansoura University

Within Mansoura University’s keenness to extend cooperation and communication with embassies and cultural attachés in Cairo, Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater - President of Mansoura University, received on January 11, 2024, Her Excellency Ambassador Maryam Al-Kaabi - Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States and her accompanying delegation.

In the presence of Prof. Walid El-Shenawy - Dean of the Faculty of Law and Dr. Ahmed Anwar Al-Adl - General Supervisor of the Administration of International Students. Where Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater welcomed the honor of Her Excellency the Ambassador and her accompanying delegation at Mansoura University, stressing the depth of ties and close relations between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates throughout history and Mansoura University’s keenness to care for Emirati students studying in the university’s various faculties in the two stages (Undergraduate – Postgraduate studies) and provide the best methods of modern education and distinctive programs to prepare them as true ambassadors of Mansoura University in their country,

The university president also reviewed the specialized academic programs and joint programs with international universities, including Mansoura and Manchester Medical Programs in the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, the distinguished research centers regionally and internationally, as well as organ transplant programs and the qualitative excellence of hospitals and medical centers until they became the pioneers of medicine in Egypt.

Ambassador Maryam Al-Kaabi expressed her great pleasure with the visit to Mansoura University, emphasizing the university’s scientific and academic standing, the prestigious reputation it enjoys, and the tangible progress it has achieved in the education sector. The two parties discussed the possibility of academic cooperation in all scientific, cultural, and research fields in order to exchange experiences and strengthen relations with the university.
