The cultural attaché of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo organized a celebration ceremony on Monday, 17/12/2012 to honor the professors and scientists of Mansoura University and Egyptian universities for their scientific contributions which lead to the progress of the Arab world.

Prof. Saeed Alesayi, the cultural attaché in the Embassy of Oman in Cairo, Prof. AlSayed Abdel-Khalek,  the President of Mansoura University, Prof. Abdul Hakim Abdul Khalek, president of Tanta University Prof. Majid Alqamary, President of Kafr el-Sheikh University, the Vice-Presidents of theUniversity and a number of professors and deans of the faculties..

Prof. Saeed Alesayi praised the role of Egypt in the dissemination of science and the services that Mansoura University provides for students of the Sultanate of Oman. He thanked the Egyptian professors who taught in universities of Oman.

Prof. Alsayed Abdel-Khalek, the president of the university, said that this celebration reflects the loyalty values of the people of Oman, who always stand beside Egypt. He  appreciated the invitation of the Egyptians from various universities and their choice of Mansoura University to be the celebration place, stressing that the bonds of love and cooperation would continue to exist between the two countries.

 Prof. Al-Sayed Ahmed abd El-Khalek, President of Mansoura University, has opened the anatomy department museum in Faculty of Medicine on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 after modernizing it with the latest modern technology. The opening was attended by Prof. Ehab Saad, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Adel Al-Hwary Head of Anatomy Dept., and Prof. Mohamed Salah El-Dian Hamed, anatomy professor.
The museum includes 240 preserved samples of human organs; some of them were imported from Germany. The museum provides educational services for students of the Faculties of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Clinical Pharmacy, and some specializations in Faculty of Science, as well as post graduate students in different specializations of surgery. In addition, it provides services of general surgery tests for undergraduate students.
The museum includes several sections that show human body parts including: abdomen, pelvis, chest, limbs, brain, nervous system, head, neck, and their details, blood vessels, arteries, viscera, joints and muscles.

Prof. Al-Sayed Ahmed abd El-Khalek, President of Mansoura University, has inaugurated the clinical research and post graduate studies center in the Faculty of Dentistry on 12/12/2012 in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Al-Kenawy, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Mohamed Rabea Naser, Chairman of Delta Academy Board of Trustees, and Prof. Mohamed Al-Shahat Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry in Delta Academy
The center has been established in cooperation with Delta Academy to provide medical services in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and conservative dentistry. It includes 25 dental units, sterilization, air conditioners, and radiology center. The center working hours starts at 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on two shifts. Interns and foreign students are trained in the morning period until 2:00 p.m. while master and doctoral students are trained in the afternoon period until 8:00 p.m. The center services about 200 patients daily. International and local training courses will be organized, and surgeries will be transmitted to lecturing rooms by cameras to offer an opportunity to discuss surgeons during surgeries. The cost of equipping the center is about 650,000 pounds; 350,000 pounds were collected from personal donations and Delta Academy and the rest was paid from the university budget.

Organized College of physical education-Mansoura University Conference on the creations of the Olympic sports organizations to develop mathematical achievement on Wednesday 7/11/2012 under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Musaad, Minister of higher education and Mr. Al-Amri Farouk, Minister of State for sports, Prof.Alsayed Ahmed Abdel Khalek, Mansoura University President  in cooperation with the physical education by the Supreme Council of universities and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum creative sports in Dubai.
The conference included several seminars on mathematical economics lectured by Prof. Alsayed Ahmed Abdel Khalek, University President emphasized that stop sports activity is economic disaster resulting in cessation of employment, especially the mathematical economics is now the most powerful aspects in support of many countries, including Egypt, and University President added that mathematical economics in Egypt became in a case of destruction of this stop and this appears evident in Egyptian clubs, pointing out that so far have not found a real study of mathematical economics for three years, the decision maker in Egypt must examine the decision well before issuing either stop or play for the gravity of this decision, he wondered about the size of the sports jobs entry demonstrating that the Organization of the University of Mansoura to Egyptian universities Youth week was the reason for the establishment of the Olympic village, the sports stadium and University hotel at a cost of 150 million pounds and created this construction with thousands of jobs and generating income for the whole hotel as well as village courts that help in increasing income
He wondered what if we closed all of this ? and its impact on workers in this field ? and what will be represented this matter of a real disaster in this vital area thereby increasing the size of the money lost due to this downtime . Also Prof. Mohammed keshk , Dean of the Faculty of physical education and the Rapporteur of the Conference stressed that the main objective of the Conference was how to take advantage of the experience and proposals for sports innovation through the development of creativity in education and training and technical performance of the sports deals and achieve the message of mathematical creativity award sponsored by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in addition to the effective role of the media in the sports creativity .
Conference discussions addressed several topics included administrative performance creations of the Olympic committees and sports federations on the local and international level and discussion of Olympic Solidarity grants to upgrade athletes in developing countries
