Au CHU principal de Mansourah, une unité de soins intensifs d'isolement chirurgical et du pied diabétique a été ouverte d'une capacité de 29 lits, dont 14 lits de soins intensifs, 15 lits en service interne et 2 blocs opératoires, pour accueillir le nombre croissant de cas. du pied diabétique.

 En présence de Prof. Dr Maged El Shami, Directeur de l'Hôpital, Prof. Dr Amal Rashad, Prof. Dr Ahmed Lotfi , Directeur de l'Hôpital, Dr.  Omar Samir, le responsable administratif de l'unité.

 L'unité de radiologie numérique a également été inaugurée à l'hôpital universitaire de Mansoura.L'unité comprend 2 machines à rayons X numériques connectées au système PAX pour archiver et conserver la radiologie et aider à la recherche scientifique, en présence du Prof. Dr. Nihad Fouda, chef du service de radiologie.

 Il convient de noter que les agrandissements et les nouvelles unités dans les hôpitaux ont été équipés avec la participation de la société civile, ce qui reflète la confiance de la société civile dans le niveau des services médicaux fournis aux patients.

New expansions in Mansoura University Hospitals for emergency patients and diabetic foot

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater - President of Mansoura University opened on  May15, 2023, a number of medical units in Mansoura University hospitals, including Mansoura Main University Hospital, Intrinsic Specialized Hospital, and Emergency Hospital, that within the interest of the President of the University to organize the services provided to emergency patients and surgical isolation in the university hospitals, as well as to develop its infrastructure, develop medical units and provide them with the latest devices and capabilities according to the best international standards, with the aim of improving the level of medical and therapeutic services provided to patients coming from different governorates.

In the presence of Prof. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hospitals, Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and engineering consultant to the President of the University, Prof. El-Shaarawy Kamal, Executive Director of Specialized Hospitals and Medical Centers, Prof. Khaled El-Toukhy, Deputy Director of Medical Centers.

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater said that the new expansions are an addition to the medical system in university hospitals to provide the best treatment services, and will also contribute to increasing the capacity aiming to provide the highest standards of quality and medical services.

The openings included: Reception of the Intrinsic Specialist Hospital to receive cases of internal medicine patients, liver patients, bloody vomiting, heart disease cases, and diabetic patients, with a capacity of 12 beds and equipped with the latest radiology equipment, endoscopes, and laboratories, , in the presence of Prof. Hazem Hakim, Director of the hospital, Prof. Tariq Gouda, Head of the Internal Medicine Department, Prof. Ansaf Bassam, Head of the Cardiology Department, Prof. Ahmed Al-Buhairi, and Prof. Ahmed Saeed deputy directors of the hospital

In the emergency hospital, the new reception (B) was opened with a capacity of 13 examination beds, including reception on a regular x-ray machine, an ultrasound machine, an orthopedic unit and a minor surgery unit. The new reception is a great addition to the reception of the emergency hospital to accommodate the increasing number of patients from various governorates, in the presence of Prof. Amir Fekry, Director of the Hospital, Prof. Mostafa Mahmoud, and Prof. Magdy Bashir deputy directors of the hospital.

In the main Mansoura University Hospital, an intensive care unit for surgical isolation and diabetic foot was opened with a capacity of 29 beds, including 14 intensive care beds, 15 beds in the internal department and 2 operating rooms, to accommodate the increasing number of cases of diabetic foot. The digital radiology unit was also inaugurated ,the unit includes 2 digital X-Ray machines connected to the PAX system to archive and preserve radiology and assist in scientific research, in the presence of Prof. Maged El Shami, director of the hospital, Prof. Amal Rashad, Prof. Ahmed Lotfy deputy directors of the hospital ,Prof. Nihad Fouda, head of the Radiology Department, and Dr. Omar Samir, the administrative of the intensive care unit.

It is noteworthy that the expansions and new units in hospitals have been equipped with the participation of civil society, which reflects the confidence of civil society in the level of medical services provided to patients.
