Mansoura University Children's Hospital obtains “ ISO 9001” certification

Mansoura University Children's Hospital obtained the "ISO 9001" international quality and accreditation certificate from the English company for inspection and quality in the United Kingdom "Alcumus ISOQAR", which granted the certificate.
The company evaluated 56 general hospital procedures, including 40 medical procedures, 16 adminstrative procedures, and 13 quality procedures.
Prof. Ashraf El-Sharkawy, director of the hospital, confirmed that the children's hospital is the first hospital to obtain a quality certificate from the donor company in Egypt, Pointing out that this great grant is a result of the efforts of all the medical sectors, previous and current directors that developed strategic plans to implement the university’s vision, which are compatible with Egypt’s vision to provide integrated medical services for children in a distinguished manner in accordance with international medical quality standards.
Prof. Ashraf El-Sharkawy added that the hospital receives cases from all governorates of the Delta and other Egyptian governorates, as well as cases from Arab and African countries, and the Children's Hospital is considered the largest medical institution specialized in treating children in Egypt, which obtains the ISO 9001 certificate.
