Renewing the accreditation of the Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University for the third time in a row from The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education in 2023

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, announced the renewal of the Faculty of Medicine’s accreditation from The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education for the 3rd  time in a row, after verifying the quality of the outcomes of the faculty’s academic programs, ensuring quality in the faculty’s performance methods and administrative procedures, excellence in scientific research, and adopting standards that are compatible with the developmental needs of the community, and matching the lists of accreditation practices in accordance with the Authority’s standards.

Prof. Cherif Khater said that the university pays great attention to increasing the dissemination of continuous awareness of quality standards and quality of education in order to achieve noticeable development and improvement in the educational process, which is not limited to developing curricula on an ongoing basis, but rather aims more to develop the capabilities of the faculty members and the supporting staff, which will result in graduating the best level of doctors to serve the community, noting that the renewal of accreditation for the third time is the result of an institutional team work consisting of the university, faculty, accreditation team, staff members and administrators , in addition to providing the necessary resources and capabilities for the continuous development of the elements of the educational and research process.

Prof. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, said that the Faculty of Medicine’s obtaining advanced positions in the prestigious international rankings came as a result of the significant increase in internationally published research, in addition to the qualitative leap that the university has achieved over the past years in international academic and administrative accreditation, and improving the quality of administrative performance in accordance with the university's strategic plan to transform into a smart, 4th -generation global university, which is based on providing high-quality academic programs governed by international and local standards, to advance the educational process and continue work within hospitals. He added that the faculty is interested in spreading the concepts of quality, and developing the capabilities of the administrative staff by developing training plans for them periodically to improve their performance level.

The Faculty of Medicine also plays its societal role by providing its excellent medical services to the community, in addition to launching many medical convoys that include a distinguished elite of faculty members from various medical specialties, and free medical and therapeutic services.
