The Minister of Higher Education visits the Urology and Nephrology Center at Mansoura University

On Saturday, May 20, 2023, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited Mansoura University Urology and Nephrology Center , in the presence of Dr. Ayman Mokhtar - Governor of Dakahlia, Prof. Cherif Khater - President of Mansoura University, Prof. Mustafa Refaat – Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities, Prof. Mohamed Attia El Bayoumi - Vice President for Education and Students, Prof. Ashraf Shouma-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Bassem Wadeea- Director of the Urology and Nephrology Center, and executive and popular leaders in Dakahlia Governorate.

The center is one of the first and largest medical and scientific centers in the Middle East specialized in the treatment of kidney diseases, urinary tract surgery and kidney transplant surgeries, which was established in 1977 by Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Ghoneim (former director of the center and the pioneer of kidney transplantation) and professors of the Urology Department at the Faculty of Medicine.

The Urology and Nephrology Center provides its distinguished treatment services to all citizens of Egypt, and it also receives patients from Arab and African countries. It carries out health, therapeutic, research, academic and training services.
