Mansoura University achieves distinguished positions in the Entrepreneurship Rally Competition organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport

Mansoura University participated in the Egypt Entrepreneurship Rally Competition, which was organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, under the auspices of Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater - President of Mansoura University and Prof. Mohamed Attia Al Bayoumi - Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Anwar El Adl - General Supervisor of International Students Administration, where 1900 teams from various universities participated in the competition. Among them are the two Mansoura University teams from the Faculties of Engineering, Computers and Information, they held many training camps in Alexandria and Port Said, and only 40 teams qualified for the final stage of the competition, which was held in the new city of El Alamein from 4 to 5 September, where the ALAMPO team won from the Faculty of Engineering about their project to recycle agricultural waste (rice straw and bagasse) into homemade viscose yarn at an economical price and with high quality, under the supervision of Dr. Asmaa Al-Awadi, Team Supervisor, Prof. Muhammad Ali, Faculty of Science, with support from the ISF (Innovators Support Fund) at a value of 15,000 Egyptian pounds.

The EYECAN team from the Faculty of Computers and Information also won the third place in the technological track for their project to invent a smart chair to guide the blind using artificial intelligence.

Prof. Cherif Khater congratulated the student teams from Mansoura University, expressing the university's pride in its creative students who do their best, which also indicates that Mansoura University is interested in providing the best educational services and is a fertile environment for developing the skills of its creative students.
