Mansoura University participates in the celebrations of the Second Field Army Command on the 50th anniversary of the glorious October victory

In continuation of the constructive cooperation between Mansoura University and the leadership of the Second Field Army, a delegation from Mansoura University, headed by Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, celebrates the Second Field Army Command during the fiftieth anniversary of the glorious October victory.

The opening of the events was witnessed by Major General Muhammad Abdel Rahman Rabie, Commander of the Second Field Army, and a group of heads of participating universities and leaders of the Second Army. The sports activities carried out by the Second Army Field Command from September 16 to October 5, 2023 began with the participation of 10 Egyptian universities: Sinai University, Horus, Damietta, Mansoura, Suez Canal, Zagazig, Delta, Port Said, Al-Arish and Ismailia National University, in addition to a team from the Second Field Army Command.

The university’s participation comes under the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Fattah Zohri, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, General Coordinator of Activities, and Head of the Mansoura University delegation participating in the events. The delegation consists of 28 students, 10 administrators and trainers, under the supervision of Mr. Ahmed Al-Ashry, Director of the administration of student welfare at the University, and Captain. Yasser Tahseen Director of the Sports Activity Department at the University. Mansoura University competes in all sports activities football, volleyball, squash, and padel tennis.
