A tour by President of Mansoura University and Ambassador Hisham Badr, Assistant Minister of Planning, to the university’s centers of excellence

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Ambassador Hisham Badr, Assistant Minister of Planning for Strategic Companies and General Supervisor of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, and his accompanying delegation, made an inspection tour of the university’s laboratories and centers of excellence during the visit of the delegation of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence to Mansoura University.

The tour included an inspection of the teaching halls, training, and virtual laboratories at the Faculty of Commerce (the Virtual Bank and Stock Exchange), where Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Dean of the Faculty, reviewed the role of training and virtual centers in training students, refining their scientific skills, and qualifying them for the labor market.

They also inspected some points of excellence in the Faculty of Law, which include the digital library, electronic examination halls, and the moot court, in the presence of Prof. Walid El-Shenawy, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Ibrahim Abdullah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies.

He also inspected the distinguished medical services of the Urology and Nephrology Center, where Prof. Bassem Salah, Director of the Center, presented an overview of the establishment of the Center. It is the first specialized medical center at Mansoura University and one of the distinguished centers at the University. It is considered one of the leading centers in Egypt and the Middle East in kidney transplantation, and more than 3,300 cases of kidney transplantation have been completed there, in addition to medical and therapeutic services and specialized surgeries.

Ambassador Hisham Badr praised the level of centers of excellence at the university. He also expressed his pride in the work teams for the successes and progress they have achieved in all aspects and for the achievements he witnessed.
