President of Mansoura University participates in the events of “Story of Homeland” 2023 Conference in the presence of the President of Egypt

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, witnessed the events of “Story of Homeland” 2023 Conference, in the presence of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and a number of ministers, politicians, youth, media professionals, and representatives from all segments of society, to review the achievements of the Egyptian state in various fields, in Al-Massa Hall in the New Administrative Capital, the events will last for 3 days.

The conference comes within activating community participation and enhancing dialogue with citizens, especially the youth, and their role in supporting the government’s efforts to implement national projects and economic development plans. Prof. Cherif Khater expressed his great pleasure for his participation in “Story of Homeland” conference, as it reflects the determination of the Egyptian people, and the story of every citizen in Egypt, who represent the people who were able to withstand and work hard to build a new and strong homeland.

The conference presented the state's efforts in implementing national development projects, which aimed to improve the quality of life of the Egyptian citizen and develop society. It contributed to providing job opportunities and economic development, and also strengthened loyalty and belonging to the homeland by contributing to the development of society, through which the state aspires to create a comprehensive future renaissance.

The university president said that the conference included important sessions based on economic axes, in which senior ministers participated, which dealt with government policies and programs in supporting the Egyptian economy, and other sessions included the energy and infrastructure sectors. He added that the Egyptian state witnessed, over the period of 10 years, many presidential initiatives that contributed to improving the lives of millions of Egyptians, and giant projects that brought about a historic shift and unprecedented development in the economy, urbanization, facilities, health, education, energy, industry, and other achievements, and the implementation of major projects, care and social protection. "A Decent Life" changed the face of life in Egypt.

He pointed out that the events of the second day included a session on “National Projects and Infrastructure,” and sessions focusing on the energy and infrastructure sectors. During these sessions, large national projects and infrastructure development efforts are discussed. He added that His Excellency the President pays great attention to education, pointing to the great improvement that the higher education system is witnessing in Egypt, and supporting universities by expanding the establishment of new technological and national universities, as well as concluding partnerships to provide scholarships for our students and financing programs, with the aim of improving the quality of education, stressing Mansoura University continues the process of construction and work, to provide real development in line with the concept of the new republic.
