Scholars graduated from the National Defense College at Nasser Higher Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies at Mansoura University

Within the framework of Mansoura University’s celebrations of the golden jubilee of the victories of October 1973, Mansoura University and the National Defense College at the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies (formerly Nasser Academy) celebrated on October 3, 2023, the graduation of trainees for 3 training courses (Strategies and National Security Course, Crisis Management and Negotiation Course, Decision makers course), This is within activating the cooperation protocol between Mansoura University and the National Defense College at Nasser Military Academy for Postgraduate Studies to develop the skills of academic leaders, faculty members and administrative leaders, which was held in the period from 09/02/2023 to 09/26/2023.

In the presence of Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, and Major General Dr. Mohamed El-Desouki Sayed Al-Ahl, Director of the National Defense College, Major General. Hisham Al-Samahi, consultant to the National Defense College, Brigadier General. Ahmed Al-Swaidi, military consultant to Dakahlia Governorate, Brigadier General.Wael Abu Al-Futouh, Director of the Military Intelligence Office in Dakahlia, Colonel Sami Samir, Director of Military Education, and Dr. Shaima Mahmoud. Abdel Wahab, agreement coordinator and assistant professor at the Faculty of Education, Mansoura University.

The celebration began with Major General. Hisham Al-Samahi presenting the report of the three sessions. Then, graduation procedures were completed by Dr. Shaima Abdel Wahab.

Prof. Cherif Khater gave a speech about the importance of holding Military Academy courses for postgraduate and strategic studies, which aim to raise awareness among university staff and administrators. He said that the total number of trainees since the beginning of the implementation of the agreement has exceeded 500 trainees, and there is a great demand for such courses. He praised the awareness-raising role that the armed forces provide to raise awareness and education among all Egyptians.

Major General Dr. Mohamed El-Desouki expressed his pleasure at his presence at Mansoura University, pointing out the importance of raising awareness of the dangers and threats facing the Egyptian state and the importance of confronting them through awareness and increasing belonging. He pointed out the danger of social media and the rumors and incitement it spreads.

A number of 73 trainees passed and received certificates from the Strategy and National Security Course, 127 trainees received certificates from the Crisis Management and Negotiation Course, and 72 trainees received certificates from the Decision Makers Course. The trainees included faculty members, administrative staff, and workers in hospitals and medical centers at the university.
