Mansoura University reaches the finals of the “Youth for Development” initiative

Mansoura University participated in the final qualifiers for the Youth for Development Initiative, second edition. Under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Alaa, Director of the Human Rights Unit at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and General Coordinator of the Youth for Development Initiative, and Dr. Samah Al-Saeed, Deputy Director of the University Performance Development Center and Coordinator of the Initiative at Mansoura University.

This includes two policy papers:

-           Improving the mechanisms and means of controlling basic commodities under the supervision of Dr. Al-Muatasem Billah Mustafa, lecturer of political economy at the Faculty of Law, Mansoura University.

-           Employing artificial intelligence techniques in the education system for students with special needs, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Reham El-Ghoul, Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Education.

The national committee consisted of:

Eng. Khaled Mustafa, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Rami Galal, Member of the Senate for the Coordination of Youth of Parties and Politicians, Prof. Maged Negm, Consultant to the Minister of Higher Education for European Universities and former President of Helwan University, Prof. Noha Mekkawy, Dean of the Faculty of International Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo, and Prof. Rasha Fahmy, Consultant of oncology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Salam Oncology Center

The arbitration was also attended by the Supreme Council of Universities;

Prof. Mona Hagras, Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities and General Supervisor of the Youth for Development Initiative.

Dr. Muhammad Alaa, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office, head of the Human Rights Unit, and General Supervisor of the Youth for Development Initiative at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development , Ms. Aisha Ghoneimi - Senior Economist and Executive Director of the Youth for Development Initiative, and Mr. Muhammad Awad, Policy analyst.
