Mansoura University signs a cooperation protocol with New Mansoura University in software and medical training

During the Mansoura University Council meeting session, Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Moawad El-Kholy, President of New Mansoura University, signed a cooperation protocol between the two universities in the field of training and medical education and the implementation of training programs of common interest in hospitals and medical centers at Mansoura University.

A cooperation protocol was also signed to work with a number of electronic systems for Intelaq Company for Communications and Information Technology (owned by Mansoura University), including systems for managing the educational process as well as the administrative process within New Mansoura University to provide its services in an electronic manner. In the presence of the New Mansoura University delegation: Prof. Ahmed Amin Hamza, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of New Mansoura University, Prof. Hala El-Marsfawy, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Nahed Al-Anany, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Prof. Cherif Khater said that the signing of the protocol comes as a continuation of the fruitful cooperation between the two universities and to enhance aspects of cooperation between Mansoura University and higher education institutions to benefit from the distinguished expertise of Mansoura University hospitals, as well as providing technological services to higher education institutions in Egypt to be compatible with the era of digital transformation and in line with the state’s plan to achieve Egypt’s 2030 vision.

Mansoura University believes in the importance of supporting scientific and academic cooperation with universities within its geographical scope with the aim of raising the level of quality of educational performance in a way that is reflected in the higher education system as a whole.

Prof. Moawad El-Khouly said that the signing of the cooperation protocol took place within the desire of New Mansoura University - as one of the universities in the Delta region and as a continuation of cooperation with Mansoura University in the field of training and continuing medical education, and to benefit from the capabilities available at Mansoura University hospitals to contribute to the preparation of graduates according to the scientific and technical methods at Mansoura University.
