At the conclusion of the first conference of university hospitals in Egypt, Mansoura University receives the "Star of University Hospitals" shield

Mansoura University Hospitals received the "Star of University Hospitals" shield, first class, at the institutional level, during the first conference of university hospitals, organized by the Supreme Council of University Hospitals in cooperation with Ain Shams University. The award was in recognition of its outstanding performance and leadership in providing integrated healthcare and educational services.

This honor came during the closing ceremony of the conference, held under the patronage and honor of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and attended by Prof. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Preventive Affairs; Prof. Mohamed Diaa El-Din Zein El-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ahmed Taha, Chairman of the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Control; Prof. Hesham Steit, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and Supply, and Medical Technology Management; Prof. Omar Sherif Omar, Secretary of the Supreme Council of University Hospitals; Prof. Ahmed Anani, Advisor to the Minister for Health Policies; Prof. Ashraf Hatem, Chairman of the Medical Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Hospitals; Prof. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals; Prof. Shaarawy Kamal, Executive Director of University Hospitals; and a number of prominent figures from the Egyptian health sector, university leaders, deans of medical schools, and directors of university hospitals.

Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, expressed his pride and honor in the university hospitals receiving this shield, emphasizing that the honor reflects the distinguished position of Mansoura University Hospitals on the healthcare map in Egypt. It also underscores our unwavering commitment to applying international standards and providing advanced medical, therapeutic, research, educational, and training services, befitting the university's name and history. He emphasized the university's commitment to continuing its efforts to improve the quality of medical services and maintain its leadership as a stronghold of medicine in Egypt, in light of the directives of the political leadership, Egypt Vision 2030, and achieving the relevant goals of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Prof. Ashraf Shoma said that this honor is the result of organized institutional work that combines therapeutic, educational, and scientific research. He noted that the Faculty of Medicine is constantly developing its programs to keep pace with the latest global systems in medical education and contribute to the preparation of highly qualified healthcare personnel, as a result of a strategic vision that integrates medical education with healthcare services. He emphasized the constant endeavor to ensure that hospitals are model educational and therapeutic environments.

Prof. Al-Shaarawy Kamal noted that this achievement is an important step toward strengthening Mansoura Hospitals' position among the leading university hospitals nationwide.
