Distinguished research participation by 14 faculty members confirms the university's leadership in supporting international scientific research
As part of Mansoura University's strategy to enhance international scientific cooperation and support joint scientific research, the university participated as a major partner in the 10th International Conference on Health, Engineering, and Basic Sciences (ASES), held in Sinop, Turkey, this April. The conference was held in partnership with the Academy of Scientific and Educational Studies (ASES) and Sinop University.
The participation was sponsored by Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and led by Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies, Research, and Cultural Relations, and coordinated by Prof. Marwa Hassan, Director of the International Relations Office.
This participation received great attention and praise from Sinop University, owing to the effective support and fruitful coordination provided by Mansoura University, which clearly contributed to the success of the conference. This was achieved through the cooperation of the deans and vice deans of graduate studies at the Faculties of Nursing and Science.
The conference saw the participation of 14 faculty members, 13 from the Faculty of Nursing and one from the Faculty of Science. Their participation included presenting various scientific research papers, moderating scientific sessions, and representing the university in prestigious international scientific discussions.
Under the supervision of Prof. Abeer Zakaria, Dean of the faculty of Nursing, there was distinguished representation from a select group of faculty members, including Prof. Amani Mohamed Shebl, former Dean of the Faculty, who moderated one of the conference sessions; Prof. Nahed Attia Qandil, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Souad Hassan Abdel Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at New Mansoura University. A select group of faculty members and teaching assistants from various specialties, including geriatric nursing, psychiatric nursing, critical care, and maternity nursing, also participated.
Dr. Narmin Ali Abdel Hakim, Physics Lecturer at the Faculty of Science, also participated with a specialized research paper on the use of environmentally friendly metals.
The conference featured 257 scientific research papers from 20 countries, including Algeria, Romania, Portugal, Azerbaijan, the Philippines, Italy, and Egypt. The research discussed diverse topics, such as public health, critical care, elderly health, mental health, women's health, alternative medicine, artificial intelligence, and healthcare facility management.
The Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University presented a distinguished research paper titled "Electronic Medical Records and Their Impact on the Quality of Life of Patients and Healthcare Team Members." This paper reflects the university's excellence in producing software that supports the healthcare sector and strengthens its position as the largest medical university in Egypt and the Arab world.
This participation reflects Mansoura University's commitment to international scientific interaction, enhancing its research standing, serving its strategic objectives of supporting the scientific research and innovation system, and consolidating its presence in international academic forums.
