Mansoura University President Inaugurates Development and Renovation Projects at the Faculty of Law'

Coinciding with the Faculty of Law's Golden Jubilee Celebration, Mansoura University President Inaugurates Development and Renovation Projects at the Faculty
Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, inaugurated several development and renovation projects at the Faculty of Law on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, coinciding with the Faculty's fiftieth anniversary.
The inauguration was attended by Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Walid El-Shenawy, Dean of the Faculty of Law, along with a number of deans, vice deans, and department heads.
The development projects included the renovation of the faculty’s main entrance and the modernization of several lecture halls, which can accommodate approximately 5,000 students. These include: Prof. Abdel Razek El Sanhouri Hall, Prof. Abdel Moneim El Badrawy Hall, Prof. Mohamed Mohi El Din Awad Hall, Prof. El Shafei Bashir Hall, and Prof. Abdel Hadi El Naggar Hall. The renovation of the administrative offices wing for faculty members was also completed.
Prof. Cherif Khater emphasized that these works are part of the university's comprehensive plan to modernize its infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of its educational facilities in accordance with the highest international standards. This will positively impact the quality of the educational process and the academic environment at the faculty. He highlighted the university's commitment to developing its infrastructure as part of its ongoing efforts toward digital transformation and the integration of modern technology into the educational process and examinations, enhancing the ability of graduates to meet the demands of the local and international labor market.
Prof. Walid El-Shenawy emphasized that the inauguration of these projects reflects the university's commitment to supporting the faculty and providing an integrated educational environment that keeps pace with technological developments. He added that the faculty is making steady progress toward digital transformation and modernizing the education system to meet modern requirements.
This inauguration coincides with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Law at Mansoura University, one of the most prestigious legal academic institutions in Egypt and the Arab world. Its pioneering scientific and professional contributions throughout its history have made it a symbol of academic excellence in local and regional forums.
