The Attorney General and the President of Mansoura University sign a cooperation protocol in the fields of education, scientific research, training, and publishing.

Counselor Mohamed Shawky, the Attorney General, and Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the two parties in the fields of education, scientific research, training, and publishing.

The protocol was signed at the Mansoura University Administration Headquarters in the presence of Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia; Prof. Sayed Abdel Khalek, former Minister of Higher Education; Major General Khaled Eid, Director of National Security for the Eastern Delta Region; and a group of Public Prosecution leaders, including Counselor Amr Farouk, Director of Judicial Inspection; Counselor Mohamed El-Bayea, Head of the Technical Office of the Public Prosecutor; Counselor Ali Mokhtar, Director of Public Prosecutions; Counselor Mustafa Samra, First Attorney General of the Mansoura Appeals Prosecution; and a number of prominent judicial, security, oversight, and executive leaders. Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Walid El-Shenawy, Dean of the Faculty of Law.

The signing of the protocol comes within the framework of the Egyptian Public Prosecution's and Mansoura University's commitment to strengthening cooperation between them in various scientific, research, training, and service fields, and to developing academic communication through the exchange of studies and expertise in areas of mutual interest. The protocol aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties by providing the necessary scientific, legal, technical, and administrative expertise in various fields of common interest. This will be achieved by utilizing members of each party in teaching and training in specialized academic courses organized by the other party. The protocol also aims to hold training courses and workshops to qualify human resources from both parties, and to cooperate in all agreed-upon aspects of scientific and cultural activities.

The protocol includes providing training opportunities through the Public Prosecution Office for third- and fourth-year law students, including legal training programs, workshops, specialized programs, and summer practical training, in accordance with the terms and standards organized by both parties. The protocol also includes providing access to the libraries of the other party for members to browse and borrow in accordance with the governing rules. In addition, invitations will be exchanged to attend cultural and scientific events of mutual interest.

The protocol also allows for the development of postgraduate programs for members of the Public Prosecution Office, based on training and academic needs. It also allows for the use of Mansoura University's facilities, including halls and training centers, as platforms for holding seminars, meetings, and public prosecution meetings.
