The Egyptian Public Prosecutor is Present at Mansoura University

Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, received Counselor Mohamed Shawky, the Public Prosecutor of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia on May 8, 2025, at the university's administration headquarters. The meeting was attended by Prof. Sayed Abdel Khaleq, former Minister of Higher Education; Major General Khaled Eid, Director of National Security for the Eastern Delta Region; and a group of Public Prosecution officials, headed by Counselor Amr Farouk, Director of Judicial Inspection; Counselor Mohamed El-Bayea, Head of the Technical Office of the Public Prosecutor; Counselor Ali Mokhtar, Director of Public Prosecutions; Counselor Mustafa Samra, First Attorney General of the Mansoura Appeals Prosecution; and a number of prominent judicial, security, oversight, and executive leaders. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Walid El-Shenawy, Dean of the Faculty of Law.
Prof. Cherif Khater welcomed His Excellency Counselor Mohamed Shawky, the Egyptian Attorney General, during his gracious visit to the university in response to the university's invitation to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Faculty of Law. He expressed the university's pride in this high-level visit, which reflects the deep ties between state institutions and the university's role in supporting justice efforts and promoting a culture of the rule of law.
Counselor Mohamed Shawky expressed his deep pride in his affiliation with the Faculty of Law at Mansoura University, emphasizing that this prestigious academic institution has been and continues to be a platform for preparing justice professionals and law makers. He praised the caliber of graduates who have proven their competence in the fields of judicial and parliamentary work both inside and outside Egypt.
