Presidents of Mansoura University and Al-Mustaqbal University in Iraq in a tour at Mansoura University

Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, accompanied by Prof. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University in Iraq, conducted a field tour of several of the university's faculties and centers. The tour aimed to familiarize themselves with the university's academic and research capabilities and modern infrastructure, and to explore opportunities for enhancing joint cooperation. This tour was part of the official visit of the Al-Mustaqbal University delegation to Mansoura University.

Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, also participated in the tour. The accompanying delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University also included: Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Hassan, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision; Dr. Ammar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Law; Dr. Saad Al-Alem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit; and Dr. Iman Abdel Aziz, from the Sustainable Development Division.

During the tour, Prof. Cherif Khater said that Mansoura University places special emphasis on developing the education and training environment by updating academic programs and equipping them with the latest technologies. He noted that the cooperation with Al-Mustaqbal University in Iraq represents a model for Arab integration in the field of higher education.

Prof. Hassan Shaker expressed his admiration for the distinguished capabilities he saw within Mansoura University, noting that the visit represents a new step toward building a strategic partnership that opens broad horizons for research and academic cooperation between the two universities.

The tour began with a visit to the Faculty of Law, attended by Prof. Walid El-Shenawy, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Tamer Saleh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Alaa El-Tamimi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Dr. Moatasem Bellah El-Bahrawy, General Supervisor of the University's International Students Administration. The delegation toured the Faculty Council Hall, the lecture halls, the main auditoriums, and the electronic examination hall, in addition to the library and reading rooms, which are among the largest legal libraries among Egyptian universities. They also toured the Moot Court and the Legal Clinic, which provide an integrated training environment for preparing students for practical practice. The Faculty is one of the leading law schools in the Arab world, combining academic excellence with modern training programs. This was followed by a visit to the Faculty of Commerce, attended by Prof. Ahmed Motawea, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Marwa Hassan, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Director of the University's International Relations Office; Prof. Amr Nazih, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and a number of faculty members. The tour included a tour of the advanced training and simulation labs, including stock market and bank simulations, as well as a number of large auditoriums and electronic testing halls. The Faculty is distinguished by its pioneering role in graduating specialized cadres in the fields of economics and business, with a focus on practical training and the use of technology to serve the educational process. The tour also included a visit to Intelaq Information and Communications Technology Company, attended by Prof. Sherif Keshk, CEO of the company; Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed Saafan, Deputy Executive Director; Dr. Mohamed Handoussa, Deputy Executive Director; and Dr. Mustafa El-Bandarary, the company's legal advisor. The delegation was briefed on the company's role in supporting digital transformation and artificial intelligence applications at Mansoura University, as well as in educational, governmental, and private institutions. This is achieved by providing integrated technical services, including software development, electronic systems development, the establishment and maintenance of computer networks and data centers, and website development according to industry standards.

Prof. Sherif Keshk also presented the company's most important technical services and its role in supporting the educational process at the undergraduate and graduate levels through its two leading platforms: the "Maaref" platform, the first university digital platform in Egypt offering high-quality educational courses, and the "KNOWTURE" platform, which provides specialized lectures for researchers in cooperation with the Graduate Studies Sector at Mansoura University. The platform brings together a select group of faculty members from the university and foreign universities to deliver specialized academic lectures in various research fields, contributing to strengthening technical and research cooperation between the two universities.

The tour concluded with a visit by Al-Mustaqbal University delegation to the Specialized Programs Building at the College of Engineering, attended by Prof. Sherif El-Badawy, Dean of the College, and Prof. Amira Yassin Heikal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The delegation toured the building, one of the university's most prominent modern educational institutions, featuring distinguished credit-hour programs and advanced laboratories and training halls. These facilities aim to graduate highly qualified engineers capable of competing regionally and internationally, supporting engineering innovation and industrial development plans and enhancing the university's position as a distinguished center for engineering education and scientific research.

At the end of the tour, Al-Mustaqbal University delegation praised the advanced capabilities and modern equipment they saw at Mansoura University, emphasizing that this visit represents a new pillar for expanding academic and research cooperation, serving the two universities' goals of developing higher education at the local and regional levels.
