Mansoura University President Joins Students with Disabilities for Ramadan Iftar, Emphasizes Commitment to Their Integration into University Life

Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, joined university students with disabilities for a Ramadan iftar organized by the Center for Services for Persons with Disabilities, under the leadership and in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. This event reflects the university's commitment to supporting and integrating students with disabilities and enhancing their participation in various university activities and events.
The events were attended by Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Abdel-Qader Mubarak, Chairman of the Faculty Club; Dr. Walid Tantawi, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Nanees El-Beltagy, Director of the Center for Services for Persons with Disabilities; Dr. Ibrahim Abu Zeid, Deputy Director of the Center; Dr. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, Coordinator of Student Activities; Dr. Mariam Wissa, Deputy Coordinator of Student Activities; Dr. Mona Abu El-Ezz, Executive Director of Career Development Centers; and Mr. Ahmed El-Ashry, Director General of Student Welfare, in addition to a number of faculty members and administrative staff, and with wide participation from university students with disabilities.
Prof. Cherif Khater expressed his great pleasure at sharing these special Ramadan moments with his students with disabilities, emphasizing that the university is committed to supporting and empowering them, and to creating an inclusive educational and humane environment that allows them opportunities to participate and excel in various university activities and events. He expressed his gratitude to the administration of the Center for Services for Persons with Disabilities and to the organizers of the event. He commended the efforts of the Education and Student Affairs sector and the General Administration for Student Welfare for their effective role in supporting activities and programs aimed at university students with disabilities, thus contributing to their integration within the university community.
Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi emphasized the university's commitment to organizing such events, which reflect the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity within the university community. He noted that the Education and Student Affairs sector continues to support various initiatives and activities that aim to enhance the participation of students with disabilities in university life and develop their skills and abilities in various fields.
Dr. Nanees El-Beltagy also expressed her delight at organizing this Ramadan gathering, which brings together the university community and its students. She affirmed that the Center for Services for Persons with Disabilities continues to provide various forms of academic support and activities that contribute to empowering students and facilitating their integration into the university community.
The event included a raffle for the Ramadan competition launched by the Center for Services for Persons with Disabilities during the holy month, as well as taking commemorative photos with the students. Following the iftar meal, several artistic performances were presented, creating a joyful atmosphere for all attendees.
The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the participating students in the competition, in recognition of their engagement and participation in the activities organized by the center during Ramadan.
Dr. Mona Abu El-Ezz also announced the availability of a package of vocational training programs designed to prepare students for the job market, in cooperation with the Center for Services for Persons with Disabilities. She explained that registration for these training programs will be through the center, and the training sessions will be held in the center's facilities to ensure easy access for students.
